I have recently had the pleasure of testing out this EasySMX headset thanks to them sending me the product to test!
Here’s what I thought…
The headset comes in both blue and orange, as you can see I chose the blue!
I was surprised with how awesome it looked when I took it out of the box to be honest. It’s super robust and not bendy like a lot I have tried. Neither are bad features but it’s something that some people may prefer over others.
It does come with instructions but everything is super clear and they are easy to use.
The lights are powered by the USB connection so you can choose whether to plug that in or not.
It even comes with an adapter!
It has a cord instead or a wire which I always find slightly better as it feels more robust. Plus there is a velcro wrap to tidy up the cable length quickly.
The mic folds up if you don’t need to use it and the headset is super comfy.
This headset if currently priced at £19.55. At that price it’s entry level and it delivers such great quality for that.
The audio is impecable as are the structure, quality and design.
The ONLY downside is the microphone audio quality. It is quite fuzzy and certainly not suitable for recording videos if that’s your thing. I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again here… EVEN THE HIGH END GAMING HEADSETS HAVE SHOCKING AUDIO QUALITY so that’s no reason to discount the entry level headsets.
If you are a casual gamer and want a headset to play online with your friends or alone then this headset will be great for you. If you are a YouTube creator then I would suggest you buy an entry level headset like this and invest your money in a good microphone.
