Travel may not be the same as it used to be for a while but that doesn’t mean that now isn’t the perfect time to plan all those trips we want to take in the future!
Spain is one of the sunniest countries in the whole of Europe. There is around 5000km of coastlines and there are also huge mountain ranges too. With Spain, you are almost guaranteed good weather and you can also go hiking, swimming or even horseback riding if you want. If you’ve never been to Spain before however then you may feel overwhelmed at the amount of options that are available, and this is understandable. That is why I have constructed this ultimate guide so you can find out everything you need to know.
Visas in Spain
Spain is part of the EU, so you can access a travel visa, free of charge. If you are a citizen of an American country then you can travel without a visa for up to 90 days. A lot of Asian countries will require you to have a visa though, and these include the Philippines and Thailand. This can be obtained from the consulate. It should be noted that visas take around 4 weeks to process and then there’s another 2 weeks for them to be issued, so make sure that you apply in plenty of time.
Do you Need Travel Insurance?
Yes, you should absolutely have travel insurance. European citizens will have a basic level of medical cover with their EHIC card but this does not replace your travel insurance. A travel insurance policy will cover you for a lot extra, including lost baggage and even flight rearrangements.
Where should you Go in Spain?
