How To Use Social Media To Grow Your Business

With billions of users using social media, there are many benefits to investing your time and strategizing how to use the power of social media to raise awareness around your business’s brand. If it was not before, it should be a key part of your brand’s marketing strategy. 


That said, it can be hard to know where to begin and how to use social media to its maximum potential. Here are a few ways you will be able to use social media to grow and expand your business. 


Increase Leads

The biggest benefit of social media is its capability to generate leads by targeting specific target audiences. The crucial element to make this work, is by creating high-quality leads. In order to do this successfully, you will be needing to create content that is compatible with the interests of your followers and target audience. 


This is where it is important to really hone down and create content based upon your business’s niche. Once your niche is established you are going to want to create clear and easily understandable content to attract, entice and engage with your target audience. 


To do this you need to design images and graphics that are appealing to the eye, whilst remaining on brand. Writing for your reader, understanding their pain points and being able to present a solution. Think about who they are. How old are they? What are their hobbies? Get specific! Then, finally applying a call to action. Customers, and people in general, respond well when they know what is expected from them and what their next step should be, so use this to your advantage. 


Be Aesthetically Pleasing

Your social media accounts need to be pleasing to the eye. Using tools such as an instagram frame or presets for image editing is an easy way to achieve eye-catching content and create consistency when it comes to branding.  


Your aim is to post images and content and for it to become recognizable to your brand. Your audience and potential clients want to see professionalism and be able to trust in what you are selling. By spending time making your images pleasing to the eye you are generating that impression. When it comes to social media the expression ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ doesn’t apply. Imagery is everything. 


Organise Giveaways Or Contests

In order for social media to increase sales, people need to know about your business. A quick way to boost followers and engage with potential customers is through giveaways or competitions. 


Although you are giving away an item of monetary value, competition results in your account being shared and your business reaching a much wider audience. The more people that know about your business the better. Even if that individual doesn’t win, your business is now in their mind and they will consider you for future purchases.
