The Sims Freeplay Desert Oasis Update [March 2020]

Easter is right around the corner and we have a new Sims Freeplay update coming soon!

Here are all the details (along with some images and video walkthroughs to help you on your way!): –

Watch out for cacti prickles and sand in your Sim’s shoes in the latest update of The Sims FreePlay!

You’ll be able to:

• Earn the Desert Oasis house lot set in an arid environment for the first time, when you complete the Desert Oasis Live Event! Immerse your Sims in bohemian style rewards that complete a boho-chic style pad. The grand prize is filled with knitted macramé décor, round arch door frames, rattan furniture, pampas planters, and more!

• Don’t miss two SimChase events to unlock terracotta outdoor pizza ovens and BBQs, cacti, and desert-inspired outfits, perfect for Sims that want their homes to feel welcoming, full of life, and culture.

• Dress your nurseries and pregnant Sims up with bold colors with a brand new Maternity Pack!

Here are the playable event dates for this update:

● New! Desert Oasis live event – 10 day event, running between Mar 10th and Mar 23rd

● New! Maternity Pack 9 – Start and complete a Pregnancy Event between Mar 19th and Mar 27th

● New! SimChase Season 12: Desert Days! – 7 day event, running between Mar 24th and Apr 3rd

● New! SimChase Season 13: Bed and Bath! – 7 day event, running between Apr 9th and Apr 19th

● Charming Barber hobby event (Fashion Designer hobby) – 7 day event, running between Mar 19th and Mar 29th

● Chocolate Egg Chase (Easter) seasonal quest – 7 day quest, available between Mar 30th and Apr 12th

● Wedding Presents live event (re-run) – 7 day event, running between Mar 31st and Apr 8th

● Prom hobby event (Fashion Designer hobby) – 7 day event, running between Apr 9th and Apr 19th

Things of note:

• Chocolate Egg Chase will be available to players that have purchases one of the prizes, so that they can earn the others if they want. Any already unlocked prizes will be replaced with these fallbacks:

o Prize 1: 5 LP

o Prize 2: 10 LP

o Prize 3: 10 SP

o Prize 4: 15 SP

• New action on Fridges: Drink Water

• We have improved the messaging for content downloads (initial download on Android, and DLC downloads on both platforms) to make it clearer exactly how much will be downloaded, and how much space will be required on device.
