It’s the most wonderful time of the year in SimTown and what better way to celebrate the festive season than by decorating your Sims’ homes for the holidays! Invite all of your friends and family over for a grand meal and open presents together in our traditional Christmas update of The Sims FreePlay.

‘Christmas Carole’ Seasonal Quest

We’ve written a brand-new story for our Christmas Quest that we know you’ve come to know and love every year.

A chill fills the air and snow begins to fall. It’s time to put up some decorations to really make it feel like Christmas! This year has been stressful, so your Sim books a holiday using SimBnB – but the apartment they booked is haunted by ghosts! The ghosts reveal they’re contractually obligated by Carole Mizer to haunt Albion Square – who has also deceitfully signed Santa’s Workshop to be demolished. It’s up to your Sim to solve the mystery of how to get rid of these contracts and save Christmas!

Progress through the 13-day quest to unlock a traditional London-inspired townhouse-style apartment, in one of the most impressive street locations the team has ever created, called Albion Square. The x-intersection location is complete with snow, streetlamps, car spots, phone booths and an adjoining park and town square! The townhouses are built into three townhouse apartments styled like an iconic symbol of traditional housing in England, filled with bay windows, chimneys, spiral staircases and Christmas decorations from floor to ceiling!

Influence Island: Season 3

It’s time to go back to the beach for a new season of Influence Island: Jolly Jammies! Your Sim must influence 7 celebrity Sims on the island to join their clan using their perceptive powers of persuasion.

As you convince the the island contestants to join your clan, you’ll unlock milestone rewards that help you style your Sim’s home for a traditional Christmas dinner! Get in the holiday spirit with new items such as a large Christmas tree with lights, hanging stockings, garlands, TV display cabinet with seasonal decorations, hanging lights, a train set, present piles and even fun matching pyjamas for adult and teen Sims, all in multiple colour variants!

To celebrate the festive season, we’re giving everyone a free seasonal Christmas décor pack, complete with rounded windows with lights, Santa’s Chair, wishing well and candy cane wallpaper in brand new colour variants! To celebrate the second season of Disney+ live action series The Mandalorian, you can enjoy your very own free replica of The Child! Affectionately known as “Baby Yoda”, the statue can be placed in your Sims world so they can become one with the force in SimTown.
